Xomba

Hi everyone. I want to tell you about a new site that I found this morning. It's called, "Xomba." I think the concept is pretty neat. From what I've read, basically what it is, is an Adsense profit-sharing site. What I mean, is this: You write articles, etc. and link your Adsense account to your Xomba account (Xomba explains how to do this, it's very easy), then they split the profits with you, 50/50. Xomba's Alexa ranking is 11,103, which is awsome, being that this blog's Alexa ranking is in the millions (the lower the better). Xomba's page rank is a 3 out of 10, which is good. So, Xomba really does get quite a substantial amount of traffic, so this looks promising. When people come to Xomba, read your Xombyte, as they call it, and happen to click on any Google ads, you get paid. Xomba explains to you and gives you step-by-step instructions on all that you need to do to get started and make money. Again, I am in no way affiliated with Xomba, just giving you an honest opinion about another promising way to make some extra money online. So, if you're interested you can SIGN-UP BY CLICKING HERE! Good Luck!

Thanks, easy sign up. They say give it three months - I saw limited results in a couple of days. You'll need an Adsense account and some creativity.

If you are looking to make extra money don't bother with XOMBA. First if you start actually making money on their site or you win a contest they find some reason to band your account so they don't have to pay you. Once your account is banned they don't have to share the adsense revenue with you, so now they are making money off of your post and not giving you credit. That is stealing!

They did this to me after winning their Halloween contest. David claimed I plagairized a post, so I asked for proof. I had to get Nick involved. David couldn't pony up the proof. My account was reinstated but was banned again because I, a lowly contributor to their site dared question David and his inability to give proof for him banning my account.

Luckily I was able to get all but one post off their site before my account was banned again. It appears XOMBA is run by a bunch of hacks. David has no clue what he is doing and lets his ego get in the way of his judgment and Nick the owner doesn't want to be involved in what David is or isn't doing.

I agree with Thunder Chick, Xomba makes you post and the bans you so they can take all money for them self! DON'T SIGN UP TO XOMBA!

Hi, I have used Xomba for a while now. A little perturbed that any comments critical of the posts on the site seem to be instantly deleted.

How much stocck can we put into the accuracy of the info if we cannot take a different point of view

Hi

I have been a regular user on Xomba for around 4 months or so. I have contributed over 70 articles at this point. In 4 months I have watched my articles draw in $2 the first month, $8 the second month, $20 the third month and this month of July has just reached $36 as of this post.

Xomba is a great way to establish a small income and learn more about how to make some money writing. With enough articles it is possible to build a fair income.

In my time at Xomba I have been treated fairly by the staff. There was a time that I tried to promote Xomba and some of my articles by posting to people in email and on some different "Groups". I got flagged for spamming, though it was not my intention, it is basically what I did. One article was deleted and I was given a warning by the Administrator. I apologized to those I emailed, and I tracked down and deleted my posts in the groups. I was treated more than fair.

On another occasion I was participating in a heated debate on religion and eventually the moderators had to turn off the comments on the article. It happens sometimes, but people don't get kicked off the site over it. Debates are encouraged so long as they are kept within reason.

If you plagiarize, by copying and pasting then you do risk getting banned.

All in all it is a great site, the frequent users are a pretty nice group, and the topics are broad.
I really can't see anyone having a bad time when you play by the rules.

I highly recommend you give it a try. When you refer a writer to Xomba, you get 10% of their earnings too. So the cut is 50% to the writer, 10% to the referral and 40% to Xomba.

I am not a diligent writer for Xoma, but I did post something on Xoma from time to time. According to my google adsense report, Xoma did bring in some money for me. I would like to recommend it to people who are interested in making some money online.
If you are also interested in doing paid surveys, you can check out my blog surveycrawler's blog for details.

In all reality, it's true, Xomba has been foolish with their banning policies. Trust me, it is only getting worse. You are far better off using Hubpages or Infobarrel. In the many companies that I have dealt with, XOMBA is not the best. And if you try and work out a problem with them, they are absolutely rude. Find another service.
