Sorry I've Been Away...

Hello everyone!! Yes, I've been away for quite a few days now, sorry about not giving you any notice. It's been very hectic around here with all the school festivities in celebration of all the winter holidays. This one needs cupcakes, this ones needs cookies, my kitchen has been overflowing with baked goods, needless to say. Well, today is the last day of school for two whole weeks, so you may not be hearing from me as much again. I'll try to post whenever possible, though.

Hope you all got to check out the incredible pay-per-lead program I last posted about. It's really good.

Oh, another reason I haven't been around lately is because, yes, finally, yes, I got my wish!!!! SBI!!!!!! Finally!!!!!! I've been wanting to do this for so long now, and finally am going to be able to. I know SBI is going to work for me. It's not get-rich-quick, I know I'm going to have to work and put in my hours, but it's going to be so worth it to have my own site and actually be making money from it. I will be posting about my progress with SBI as the time goes on. It'll be like a personal case study for you all to see.

First of all, let me apologize for not having blogged about anything since Monday!! I have just been so busy lately. I'm really excited about a few things that I'm working on. What Did You Accomplish This Past Week?

A very good morning to all my loyal fans (ha, ha!!) Seriously, though, I do appreciate all of you who do stop by, check me out and subscribe to my feed. It's a great feeling! Now, on with the post!

I signed in this morning to view a comment left on my last post by Heather from Home With Heather, a blog that I came across last week by way of BlogCatalog, I believe. Heather's blog has lots of great tips on Web 2.0 and the like. Anyway, she tagged me after originally being tagged by Tamara Wilson of Tamara-Wilson.com. This tagging thing is a fairly new to me, this being the first time that I've have been tagged, although, I've read about it on other blogs. Anyway, the purpose of this tagging, is basically to show one another some link love. So, Tamara initially asked four questions that I will answer here and then "tag", a.k.a. link to five other blogs, who will all do the same. Get the idea?

Okay, the four questions are:

1. What did you accomplish this past week?

I can't say that I feel that I accomplished a whole lot, by way of my internet "business." I tried to make some good posts and get my blogs name out there, but I know it is going to take time. As far as accomplishments outside of blogging and the internet, I'm a full-time mom of 8 children, so whether I feel like it or not, I know that just by taking care them and loving them, I have accomplished a whole lot. It is my goal for my children to be outstanding citizens, and I know that I play a major part in that!

2. Did anything not go as expected?

Not really, nothing that sticks out in my mind anyway. With 8 children, crazy is "normal" to me. Chaos is expected around here, not at all times, but a good part of the time!

3. What was the highlight of your week?

The highlight of my week, I'd have to say, as far as my internet week goes, is setting up my new "A Store," which you'll find a link to at the top of my blog on the right-hand side and also writing 4 more articles for Associated Content. Associated Content is by far, one of the easiest ways to earn some extra cash really quick. I'll be posting more about this very soon.

4. Did anything exciting happen that you did not expect?

Again, I expect a certain amount of excitement caused by my children everyday. So, excitement around here is pretty normal. There's always something going on and someone who needs me for something, so I really don't think my life could get any more exciting than it already is. I'm not too sure I could handle any more excitement in my life. It's funny to be talking about this right now because my husband recently just asked me what would I do if I found out tomorrow that I was pregnant. I said, "What? Are you crazy? That's not happening, it can't happen!" Has he lost his mind, I wondered. Another child, would definitely top the excitement chart around here, for sure, but again, that is not going to happen!! :)

First Month of Web Hosting For A Penny!

Good morning to all! You might have noticed that I have a new link on the right-hand side of the blog advertising your first month of web hosting for just a penny. Well, I wanted to go into just a bit more detail about that because if you were interested and clicked on it, you might have been a little confused as to what to do once you reach HostGator!

Okay, so when you arrive there you'll see at the top of the page about 3 of their most popular packages and underneath there is where you will see a holiday sale banner advertising 20% off, blah, blah, blah! That's not what you want. You want to look right underneath there, it's basically I guess the middle of the page where it just says generically, "Sign Up Now!" Once you click on this, you'll be asked if you'd like to register a new domain name or use one that you already have. Notice that I said you can get your first month of hosting for a penny, not your domain name. If you don't have a domain name, I suggest you get one first before signing up with HostGator. Good places to get a cheap domain name are: GoDaddy.com or 1&1,com.

Anyway, back to what I was saying about HostGator, once you click on the sign up button, the first thing you'll be asked about is your domain name, so if you get one from somewhere else, type it in where they ask you to or if you'd like to register your domain name with HostGator, that's fine, too. Just know that HostGator is going to charge you $15 per year, where as there are other companies you can register your domain name with and save a little money, such as the ones I referred to above. So, after you finish entering your domain name info, you'll be taken to the next page which asks you to pick the frequency of your billing cycle (monthly, etc.) Monthly will be the default at $9.95, which is a very good price, I must say, and you'll want to make sure the package type is "Baby," which it should be set to automatically and then all you have to do is enter the coupon code "WORDPRESS" into the box where it asks you for your coupon and you're done! The next page that pops up will show you that your total cost is one penny!!! Cool, right? I thought so.

I'm kinda new at all this web hosting stuff, as I don't actually have a website yet, myself, but it is so at the top of my to-do list! I really want SBI, but just can't quite afford it yet, darn! I'm also looking into something newly released called "Static Blogging." If you've never heard of Lynn Terry, you have to check her out. She's got a site called, "Self-Starters Weekly Tips," which I found probably about a year ago or so and I just love her to death. She's been doing business from the net for I guess about a decade or so, single mom, the whole nine yards. Anyway, she provides VERY VERY useful information and recommends great products. Why am I bringing her name up? She's the one who brought "Static Blogging" to my attention. I'm not an affiliate for Lynn Terry or Static Blogging, by the way, just giving you some free useful information :) I've created a link to Static Blogging, so if you'd like to check it out you can. Lynn is, I guess an affilate or partner with them and offered a ten dollar discount off the normal price of $57, so when you click the link here, you'll get the same discount if you decide to buy. I think it's worth checking out and at least bookmarking for later because I think it's something big. Static blogging is basically all about being able to have the functionality of a blog, while not necessary having the look of a blog, thus the term "static." How Much Is Your Blog Worth?

A VERY Good Morning to everyone!! I have been away for quite some time now, a nice vacation, I must say. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday and got to spend some quality time with the family. I know I did :)

So, the title of today's post is, "How Much Is Your Blog Worth?" You may have noticed a small tidbit of a graphic located a little ways down on the left-hand side of the page with a little icon of George Washington that asks, "How Much Is Your Blog Worth?" If you've been following this blog, you might have noticed that the amount of money my blog is worth has been increasing. It went from about five hundred dollars when I first installed the widget to now about $2,800 and that is an increase from last week when it was just about $2,200.

So, if you're curious to see just how much your blog is worth, you may easily do so by either clicking on the title of this post, which is a link, or by clicking in the widget itself. You can read more about it after clicking to the page, about the man who came up with it and what factors are involved when it comes to assigning a value for a blog. It's a site that was created by a loving dad who's trying to help out people like you and I. He's created basically a site where you can upload videos from YouTube and other places, no they do not have to be your own, and you earn money 50% of the money generated by Google's Adsense Ads that are on the site. All the videos you upload are own your own page and you also get a referral link to refer others and get 10% of the revenue they generate. Here's what's said on the site:

Good morning. Sorry, I wasn't able to post anything new yesterday, but I've got a good post for you today to make up for it. A little site that I bumped into a few days ago called, "Paid Surveys Unlimited." Basically, what it is, is a marketing site. They don't actually send you any surveys to your email or anything like that. You go to their site and they're going to make you some offers for free stuff and other things, but you have the option of skipping these offers by clicking on the "Skip" button or the "No, thanks" button. There's honestly, only a few offers that you have to skip through, is what I would highly recommend you do. So, once you skip through the offers, you'll get to the end and they'll tell you thank you, blah, blah, blah. After that, you should see a place to enter your email to register. The reason you want to register is because you can earn $100 just for visiting their site for 90 consecutive days! You do not need to purchase anything, either!! So, I know 90 days seems like a lot, but hey, it only takes about 1-2 minutes to skip past the offers and you're done. So, if you figure 2 minutes multiplied by 90 days, that gives you 180 minutes, which is what-3 hours, right. So if you divide the $100 by 3 hours, that brings your hourly rate of pay to about $33.33! Not too shabby, huh?

So, if you click on the title of this post, you will be taken to the site where you'll be able to click on the ad that's going to bring you to PaidSurveysUnlimited. I wish that I could figure out if they had a referral system, but I can't, so this is not my referral link, just some more free useful info for you!!

Xomba

Hi everyone. I want to tell you about a new site that I found this morning. It's called, "Xomba." I think the concept is pretty neat. From what I've read, basically what it is, is an Adsense profit-sharing site. What I mean, is this: You write articles, etc. and link your Adsense account to your Xomba account (Xomba explains how to do this, it's very easy), then they split the profits with you, 50/50. Xomba's Alexa ranking is 11,103, which is awsome, being that this blog's Alexa ranking is in the millions (the lower the better). Xomba's page rank is a 3 out of 10, which is good. So, Xomba really does get quite a substantial amount of traffic, so this looks promising. When people come to Xomba, read your Xombyte, as they call it, and happen to click on any Google ads, you get paid. Xomba explains to you and gives you step-by-step instructions on all that you need to do to get started and make money. Codrut Turcanu’s “$30,000 In 20 Days!” Challenge

Another good morning to everyone! First of all, let me clarify the title of this post a little bit for you because I'm sure you're all saying something like, "$30,000 in 20 days-yeah, right, sure..." Well, here's the thing: It's actually a "make $300 in 20 days challenge multiplied times 100 newbies taking the challenge, so the grand total is $30,000. This challenge comes from a well-known internet persona, Codrut Turcanu. I believe he started his internet venture when he was about 18 or something like that. He's a bit older now. So, anyway, I just happened to bump into his site a couple of weeks ago and signed up for his newsletter, not knowing anything about this challenge. Then, yesterday I got an email talking about this challenge, where supposedly you don't need any money and you don't need a website or even a blog. So, I figured, why not? Why not give it a try. I didn't know that this challenge was only open to the first 100 newbies that signed up, though. So, that is why I am writing this post: to inform you all of this challenge. I watched the first video this morning, which was put online yesterday. It's only about 9 minutes long and there's only task, which I've already completed. There's two more videos coming, one today and one on Wednesday. What happens after that, I'm not sure. From what I understand, it seems like these three videos are going to be the basic training, the platform, the foundation of how we're going to learn how to make our first $300 in 20 days. I, for one, am excited, if it turns out to be as simple as he is making it. Anyway, I am in no way affiliated with referring you to this challenge. Michael Cheney's Adsense Videos

Yes, I'm on a roll folks...this makes two posts in one day!! The internet and all it's endless possibilities and opportunities just gets me plain EXCITED!!!

I don't know if anyone's ever heard of Michael Cheney, but I have and he fascinates me, to put it to you simply. He's the creator of the Adsense Videos, where he shows you how he makes, I think about $19,000 per month from Adsense. Anyone who doesn't know what Adsense is, it's a program offered by Google, which allows website owners, bloggers, etc. to place a piece of code on their site, which will display revelant ads, that hopefully visitors will click on. Each time a visitor clicks on those ads, the website owner earns money. How much you get per click is a little more complicated than that. It depends on how much the person paying for the ad is paying Google, etc., but it's definitely a worthwhile program, being that it's free to sign-up for. If you have a website or blog and would like to sign-up for the Adsense program, there's a link to the left, if you scroll down a bit. You'll see a box that says, "Generate Revenue From Your Site With Google Adsense." Just click that box and you'll be taken to the sign-up page. It's really easy money, to say the least.

In the meantime, I found a great interview with Michael Cheney, concerning these Adsense Videos that I was telling you about. He's a great guy, I believe and I'm going to have more interviews and such frequently on this blog. So, check out this interview. This is another one that's going on my wishlist, cause I just can't afford it right not. Darn, how I wish I could. Q. So what made
you get started with AdSense?

A. I
was looking for a way to monetize some of my websites. AdSense
is such an easy thing to get started with the eye for it would
be a great way to start earning more money without actually putting
into much more effort. I think as soon as you see the first earnings
coming into your account you get addicted to AdSense. I know is
what happened to me and since then I've just spent time working
out how to earn more and more each day.

Q. How much do
you make with AdSense?

A. Some days I can earn
close to $1000 and others it's less than that. But it all comes
down to how much time and effort you devote to creating a quality
site that people like visiting. AdSense is not what my business
is based on by any means - but it is a great way to earn revenue
almost on autopilot.

Q. What is the
biggest mistake people making with AdSense?

A. Probably
the biggest mistake people make is thinking the AdSense earnings
are easy to achieve. It is very easy to get started but as I learned
it takes a lot of effort to increase your earnings. I got really
downhearted whenever I would log in to my account to see that
I had only made a few dollars. And that's when I decided to spend
months and months of my time learning everything I could about
AdSense.

I basically buried myself
away and devoured every single piece of AdSense information I
could find. I ran thousands of AdSense tests and started to see
a dramatic effect on my click through ratio and therefore on my
earnings.

This is why I'd decided
to record the videos - because I knew that it would help people
who were in my position to also increase their earnings. I've
read an absolute ton of AdSense e-book's but they take so long
to go through and always seem to keep information back.

With AdSense Videos I
knew that I had to tell the story exactly as it is and actually
show people and lead them by the hand through the exact techniques
that I use to generate large earnings from AdSense.

Q. In your videos
you show people how to increase their AdSense earnings - can you
give us a taster of this advice?

A. I
don't want to give away my biggest secrets as you can understand!
But some of the more basic things that you can do to increase
your revenues include using ads that blend in rather than stand
out from your content. Flat out the worst thing you can do with
an AdSense ad is make it look like the standard Google ad. What
you need to realise is that you will get more clicks if your ad
actually appears part of your site rather than something that's
just been dropped into the page.

Q. What would
you recommend that someone do right now to increase their AdSense
earnings?

A. I've
created a totally free AdSense minicourse that people can go through
to learn some of my techniques. It takes you through the four

Confessions Of A Lazy Super-Affiliate

Good Morning to everyone! It's officially 6:33 a.m.! I have about a half an hour before motherhood duty begins to call, so I thought, what better time to write a little post?

Well, I found a really good reason to write this post, after surfing around the net this morning. I came across a really intriguing site with a really unique product. It's right up my ally, so to speak. The guy who is selling the product is 23 years old and making a serious income from his online ventures. His sales page alone, gave me some really great ideas. On his sales page, he lists for you- "5 Proven, "Hands-Off" Traffic-Generation Techniques That Have Made Me a Fortune..." It's not your average, "I'm 23, look at me!" crap out there. There's something really unique about this guy and his, "no-hype" approach. He's just an honest guy who really knows what he's doing and offering to help people do the same, for a small price. I plan on purchasing this product myself in the near future. When that time comes, I will write a full review of it and really give you the nitty gritty on it. Make Money With Hits4Pay!

Okay, so, I changed my mind for now. Yesterday, I said I was going to give you the rundown on all the programs I've joined and my earnings, and I will, however, I would like to share with you first just one of the programs I've joined thus far. It's called Hits4Pay and basically it's a program that will give you a $10 sign-up bonus for joining and opting in to read emails. They pay you two cents per email you read, which I know doesn't sound like much, but it does add up, especially if you join other paid-to-read-email programs. So far I have earned my $10 sign-on bonus and 54 cents for reading emails, to bring my grand total to $10.54. One of the biggest challenges, I bet you may be facing right now or will face in the future is the challenge of learning how to make your own website. This is no easy task, to say the least. If you're a beginner, there is a seriously steep learning curve.

This blog serves three main purposes at the present time.

#1: To bring to the public valuable resources and information about working from home.
#2: To become part of a wonderful online community of other work-from-homers.
#3: To make money.

In this first post, I would just like to let everyone know a little bit about myself. I am a very busy, stay-at-home mother, who is loving every minute of my life. I feel priviledged to be able to stay at home and raise my children the way I see fit.

My quest to earn money online began quite some time ago, many years ago, in fact. I have always had the desire to contribute to our family's financial needs, despite my decision to stay at home with the kids. Well, to make a long story short, for someone just starting out on an online money-making venture, it's not all roses. I was sucked into nearly every Tom, Dick, and Harry's get-rich-quick schemes, hoping each time it would be "the one." That never happened. So, I left the whole idea on making money online alone for a long time. Nevertheless, I always had that dream in the back of my mind.

So, here I am years later and trying again. This time with a whole new outlook. I've learned that there is more to the internet than scams and that you just have to know where to look. I want this blog to be that place where those beginners can come and find some honest recommendations, resources, and information about making money online. Everything that I have learned and have yet to learn will be shared here with you.
